Notes From the Field: “The baby male snow leopard was born on May 7, 2009 at Utah’s Hogle Zoo. It was the first day the baby leopard was on public display. To deal with the crowds of people all trying to get a peek at the new baby. I patiently stood around for 5 hours awaiting the cub to wake up and to be in position from all the people to capture the shot. The wait was definitely worth while. I was able to capture a few beautiful images of the baby and mother.” — Jay Ralston
